  • OVERVIEW OF THE THREE TERMS OF THE BIBLE TIMELINE COURSE

  • The Bible Timeline is Catholic Bible Study which gives you the full story of the Bible using a narrative approach.  This approach allows you to see the coherent story of salvation.  Each weekly session has recommended reading assignments, a group discussion, and a 45-minute, video-lecture by biblical scholar, Jeff Cavins.

For St Agatha - St James parish and its student Newman Ministries, we have divided the Bible Timeline course into three “terms” of 9-11 weeks.  The sessions take into account holidays and university breaks.  The terms are:

    1. From Adam and Eve through Moses (9 sessions, Spring 2016)
  • 2. From Joshua to Jesus (11 sessions, Fall 2016)
  • 3. Jesus and the Early Church (8 sessions, Spring 2017)
